GRANDIS Project Video Series: Our Partners
The Interreg Europe GRANDIS project is dedicated to empowering female entrepreneurs and female-led SMEs in the green and digital sectors. Through collaboration and shared learning, the project helps to address the barriers women face in accessing the necessary resources, tools, and support to grow their businesses. In this video series, we are pleased to share updates from our partners across Europe, who are making valuable contributions towards developing gender-inclusive policies and fostering sustainable economic growth.
STRIA – Lead Partner (Hungary)
As the lead partner of the GRANDIS project, STRIA has been instrumental in shaping the overall vision and goals of the initiative. STRIA's efforts focus on supporting female entrepreneurs, particularly in the green and digital sectors, through the development of gender-inclusive policies. Their video update highlights their work in engaging stakeholders, identifying good practices, and exploring how regional policies can be improved to provide better support for women entrepreneurs. The project aims to help overcome challenges and ensure that women-led businesses are empowered to thrive.
Region of Crete – Greece
The Region of Crete has been actively involved in the GRANDIS project, hosting various workshops to decode the challenges women entrepreneurs face in the green and digital sectors. In their video, they share insights into the barriers that prevent women from accessing tools, resources, and information, and how they are working to address these issues. The Region of Crete aims to develop concrete proposals to improve regional policies and strategies to better empower and support women entrepreneurs, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve success.
West Development Commission (WDC) – Ireland
The West Development Commission (WDC) in Ireland is dedicated to enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem for female-led SMEs, particularly in underrepresented regions. Their video update shares their activities aimed at identifying good practices and improving regional policies to better support female entrepreneurs in the green and digital sectors. Through engagement with stakeholders and interregional learning, the WDC is working to ensure that women-led businesses have the resources and support they need to succeed.
Public Service of Wallonia – Belgium
The Public Service of Wallonia (SPW) is implementing the ESF+ Programme 2021-2027 Wallonia-Brussels, which aims to improve employment, education, and social inclusion, particularly for women entrepreneurs. SPW’s focus is on promoting job creation and training in the green transition and digital technology sectors. Their video highlights their work in providing tailored support, including business incubation, project development assistance, and follow-up for women entrepreneurs. This support is key to empowering female-led businesses and fostering innovation in the region.
Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska – Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska (RARS) in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a discovery partner in the GRANDIS project, contributing to the identification of challenges and barriers faced by women entrepreneurs. RARS’s video update highlights their efforts in organizing workshops and consultations with key stakeholders to gather insights on how regional policies can better support female-led SMEs. Their participation in the project provides valuable opportunities for learning and developing better support mechanisms for women in business.
Cantabria, Spain (Directorate General for Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship & SODERCAN)
The Cantabria partners from Spain – represented by the Directorate General for Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship and SODERCAN – are focused on improving policies and support systems for female entrepreneurs in the green and digital sectors. Their video update showcases their initiatives, including engaging with women-led SMEs to better understand their challenges. Through their efforts, they are working to foster innovation and sustainable growth in these sectors, creating a more inclusive environment for female entrepreneurs to thrive.
Through these updates, the GRANDIS project demonstrates the collective commitment of all partners to create a more inclusive, sustainable future for female entrepreneurs in the twin transition to a green and digital economy.
