Let's meet the Coimbra Region, a public legal association of 19 municipalities in the Centro of Portugal. As a key driver of regional development, Coimbra Region focuses on fostering cooperation among local governments to implement sustainable initiatives, promote innovation, and enhance quality of life. Its work spans diverse areas, including mobility, energy efficiency, tourism, and cultural heritage.
Coimbra Region actively contributes to the project by sharing its expertise in regional strategies and by implementing innovative solutions that improve connectivity and reduce environmental impacts across our municipalities.
EMBRACER will empower the region by offering access to international expertise and fostering collaboration on shared challenges.
