On December 7, 2023, The Secretariat for Youth of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship organized a 2nd second regional stakeholder meeting of the CROWDFUNDMATCH project. The event was hosted by one of project stakeholders: Regional Center For Innovation and Technology Transfer of West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.

The objective of the meeting was networking and sharing information on project activities in second semester, mostly Autumn 2023, with West Pomeranian specialists in development, entrepreneurship and innovation: Koszalin’s Agency for Regional Development, Polish Entrepreneurship Fund, Northern Chamber of Commerce in Szczecin, Science and Technology Park of Szczecin, West Pomeranian Agency for Regional Development. Mrs. Maria Czerniecka representing Polish Entrepreneurship Fund shared her presentation about outcomes of CROWDFUNDMATCH international workshops in Utrecht.

The crowdfunding markets and analysis specialist Mrs. Dominika Kordela from the University of Szczecin presented the latest state of crowdfunding market for regional initiatives in Poland, which launched long discussion mainly about equity crowdfunding potential for regional development (where still the most recognized and trusted sector was donation crowdfunding).

The joint task of collection of existing fund-matching good practices (or barriers) in project partner regions was explained and analyzed with stakeholders. The group was engaged to recognize and share examples of projects, initiatives or investments that combined crowdfunding with public funds so far.

We are grateful to all stakeholders for their active participation, good conversations and important contributions to the project implementation.
