Diputación de Jaén Links with City Council for CIVITEC
In February, representatives from the Diputación Provincial de Jaén met with officials from the Jaén City Council, including the councillor delegate, the manager of the Board of Social Affairs, and the chief of staff of the mayor’s office in order to coordinate their involvement in the CIVITEC project. Following the meeting, Jaén City Council has officially joined the project’s stakeholder group, reinforcing regional collaboration in advancing digital tools for participatory democracy.
Their involvement marks an important step in strengthening local partnerships within the CIVITEC project, which aims to make democracy more participatory, inclusive, and responsive. By engaging key municipal actors like Jaén City Council, CIVITEC continues to promote citizen-driven policymaking through innovative digital solutions across Europe.
