FVGAR Showcases Digital Heritage at Gorizia Workshop
On April 11, 2025, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, CHERRY’s Lead Partner, participated in the “Oltre i Confini” workshop in Gorizia as part of the RecapMCV project, organized by Informest.
The event highlighted how digital technologies can enrich cultural heritage, emphasizing accessibility and inclusion.
The workshop underscored the value of cross-border cooperation and innovative tools, such as immersive rooms, to share collective narratives.

Ms. Elena Mengotti from FVGAR spoke on the synergy between cultural heritage, sustainability, and Interreg programmes, spotlighting the role of cultural and creative enterprises.
Ms. Mengotti also introduced a newly launched call for proposals under CHERRY’s Pilot Action No. 1. This initiative tests innovative public-private partnership (PPP) financing models to enhance cultural activities, with a focus on privately owned regional parks and gardens.
