STEM, the main theme of the Igualada Children’s Rights Festival

Last Saturday, the Museu de la Pell d'Igualada held the Children’s Rights Festival. For the third year in a row, the Consell d’Infants and the Ajuntament d’Igualada organize this festival, dedicated to reflecting on the rights of children and how society and administrations take care of them. 

This year, the festival incorporated a diverse range of activities and games pertaining to gender and STEM careers, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The main goal of the festival was about helping families and children to know more about STEM.

The Consell d’Infants of the city of Igualada collaborated with and for children in the organization of this festival. Throughout the day, there was activities, games, workshops, and exhibitions related to STEM for all kids from 3 to 12 years old.

Moreover, students from various schools in the city also joined the festival who shared their STEM learning with the other children and families of the city. There were science experiments, mathematical projects and robotics demonstrations that offered the attendees a great time.
