UNLOCK Regional Stakeholders Meeting - Västerbotten (Sweden)

On June 26th 2024, the Region Västerbotten team hosted the third RMSG meeting for the Interreg Europe UNLOCK project in Visby, during Sweden’s largest and most influential political festival, Almedalen Week.

Almedalen Week is a democratic meeting forum, offering every Swedish citizen opportunity to engage with politicians. It is a dynamic platform for dialogue, ideas exchange, and personal interaction with many seminars that contribute to the development of Swedish society.

During this event, the Region Västerbotten team brought together 10 stakeholders from academia, municipalities, and businesses, along with 2 participants joining remotely, to review the project's progress. The discussion focused on sharing good practices from project partners, presenting new regional suggestions, and exploring opportunities for further collaboration.

The meeting has identified several key points related to possible policy improvements based on the good practices discussed in the area of green hydrogen development and the opportunities UNLOCK project can create for SMEs in the region.
