By Project UNLOCK
Seminar at the study visit to the Province of Fryslân

The event provided an opportunity for the attendees to gather in the village of Eernewoude, situated within the Alde Feanen National Park.

The day was structured around three seminars and an interactive workshop. The study visit offered a comprehensive overview of hydrogen developments within Fryslân. The first seminar concentrated on highlighting the significance of hydrogen in the region, shedding light on the vast potential and opportunities it presents for a sustainable future. Speakers from both the government and non-government sectors provided invaluable insights, paving the way for insightful discussions and knowledge sharing.

The second seminar revolved around the Bolward study case. Participants were immersed in an exploration of a hydrogen project that contributed to the advancement of a mid-sized city. Following the seminars, the participants actively engaged in an interactive workshop. This fostered an exchange of ideas, encouraging collaborative thinking and problem-solving. Concluding the study visit, the third seminar centred on hydrogen production. This provided a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in the creation of this eco-friendly energy source.
