2nd Local Stakeholder Group meeting in Nyíregyháza

Focus on Sustainable Tourism

On March 24, 2025, the second stakeholder group meeting of the Tourism4SDG project was held in Nyíregyháza, Hungary organized by the Municipality of Nyíregyháza. During the event, project
members shared their latest experiences with participant and jointly explored opportunities for the development of sustainable tourism with these professionals.

The event showcased the results achieved so far in the project. Participants gained insight into experiences from other European locations involved in the project, including Lublin in Poland and La
Rochelle in France, which can assist in the sustainable development of local tourism.
As a conclusion of the program, preparations for the upcoming meeting of project partners in Nyíregyháza were also discussed. This meeting is scheduled to take place on May 7-8, 2025, with representatives from 10 countries, during which best practices from Nyíregyháza will also be presented.
