Last 15th of september Chamber of Commerce of Seville hosted its first official stakeholders’ meeting in the framework of TOURBO activities. Previously to the meeting, the Chamber had established bilateral contacts and had different bilateral meetings with each of them to introduce the activities and the project.

The group of stakeholders is formed by Associated Policy Authority Prodetur, the public company for Economic and Tourism Development in Seville, the Regional Government of Andalusia through its Regional Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Andalucia Lab,  associations of entrepreneurs (ASET and AJE), and business school EUSA represented by tourism experts.

The first meeting enabled the stakeholders to introduce their organizations, share their interests in the sector, and, after a complete presentation of the project, to deliberate on the main topics in TOURBO: the integration of quadruple helix in the value chain of tourism sector in benefits of competitiveness of SMEs, digitalization of tourism-related SMEs and how SMEs can become more resource efficient.

This first meeting is the starting point of a joint journey in TOURBO in which Andalusian stakeholders, together with the stakeholders and partners from the 8 participating countries will collaborate and share their experiences towards the same objectives.
