In the ongoing pursuit of fostering mutual understanding and cooperation among various stakeholders, partners have taken a proactive step by creating informative videos detailing their respective policy instruments and strategies aimed at mitigating overtourism. This collaborative effort aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices among participating entities.

The Metropolitan Region Amsterdam emphasises sustainable tourism promotion, Brasov Metropolitan Agency focuses on data-driven destination management, while Krakow Municipality prioritises SME and community engagement. The Metropolitan City of Rome tackles overtourism through sustainable mobility initiatives, Andalucia's Regional Government focuses on destination development and management, and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasizes behaviour influence tactics. Critical factors across these strategies include managing tourist influxes, preserving cultural heritage, and fostering community engagement, with challenges including balancing tourism growth with sustainability and addressing stakeholder coordination. Key learning points include the importance of data-driven decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and integrating sustainability into tourism planning efforts.

These videos serve as valuable resources for fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among TIB partners. By sharing insights into their respective policy instruments and strategies, participating entities contribute to a collective effort in tackling the complex challenges posed by overtourism, ultimately striving towards more sustainable and resilient tourism destinations.
