The four-day program includes a rich blend of learning sessions, cultural experiences, and strategic discussions. On May 13, attendees will be welcomed with presentations detailing the state of tourism at both local and county levels in Brașov. TIB partners will then share updates and reflections on six key project themes, fostering dialogue around sustainable tourism development.

In addition to formal sessions, the agenda features immersive experiences that highlight Brașov’s tourism assets and best practices. Participants will enjoy guided tours of the city’s Old Town, Bran Castle, and Râșnov Fortress. Visits to innovative tourism sites such as Dino Park and Vama Buzăului will offer insights into successful local strategies that balance tourism growth with heritage preservation and community well-being.

The programme also includes opportunities for informal networking and cultural appreciation, with dinners at iconic locations such as Sub Tâmpa and Stâna Turistică in Poiana Brașov. A chocolate workshop, hosted by local artisan Dorian Lungu of Luado, adds a unique touch to the experience.

The final day, May 16, will focus on project governance with a Steering Committee meeting and strategic discussions around future plans. These sessions will be pivotal in aligning the project’s next steps with the overarching goals of the TIB initiative and the broader Interreg Europe framework.

As the TIB project continues to promote sustainable, balanced, and inclusive tourism, the Brașov meeting will serve as a key milestone in fostering regional cooperation and shared learning across European destinations.
