TechSocialcare Bridges Innovation and Community at Maker Faire Sarajevo 2025
TechSocialcare proudly took part in Maker Faire Sarajevo 2025, an inspiring event that brought together inventors, engineers, artists, and community leaders to celebrate creativity, hands-on innovation, and socially impactful technology. Our presence at the Faire marked an exciting step in our mission to bring assistive technology closer to those who need it most, particularly in the fields of healthcare, social care, and community support.
Showcasing tech for social good
In our interactive discussions, visitors explored a range of concepts which will be developed under the TechSocialcare initiative. From assistive tech tools designed to support elderly care and mental health, to digital platforms for improving communication between patients and caregivers, our team presented how accessible, community-driven technology can address real-world challenges.
Young makers, educators, tech enthusiasts, and healthcare professionals engaged with us, providing valuable feedback and discussing how assistive tech solutions could be applied or scaled in their own communities. The enthusiasm was mutual: we were inspired by the openness and curiosity of the visitors and their commitment to using technology for positive change.
Empowering youth and local talent
One of the goals of TechSocialcare is to involve young people in designing the future of care. At Maker Faire Sarajevo, we were thrilled to meet student innovators and local tech enthusiasts eager to co-create solutions that matter.
