Study Visit & Interregional Workshop in Oradea (Romania)

The second TALENT4S3 event of 2025 will take place in Oradea, Romania, on May 27th and 28th. Organized by project partner North-West Regional Development Agency, this Study Visit & second Interregional Thematic Workshop will focus on analyzing key elements of regional good practices. 

Romania’s North-West Region will use this opportunity to showcase its strong commitment to innovation, education, and entrepreneurship. Through guided visits and discussions, participants will explore practical approaches to talent development and brain drain prevention, while exchanging experiences with peers from across Europe.

The event will highlight several inspiring initiatives, including the Bihor Science & Technology Park, Make IT in Oradea, and the Cresc Oradea Mare Business Incubator. These good practices illustrate how the region supports startups, fosters technological growth, and builds a dynamic business environment.

On the second day, the Interregional Thematic Workshop titled “Countering Brain Drain – Housing and Amenities” will be led by Agata Troost from the University of Groningen. The discussion will focus on improving living and working conditions for young talents, and additional presentations—such as the Dual Education Campus Oradea and FIX Cluj—will offer further insight into effective models of education-business cooperation and cluster development.

This TALENT4S3 event will serve as a valuable opportunity for interregional collaboration, helping to shape more inclusive, innovative, and talent-friendly ecosystems across Europe.
