SPOTLOG showcased at Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2025
The University of Aveiro (LP) and the Municipality of Fundão (PP02) proudly represented the SPOTLOG project at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit, held in Lisbon from 3 to 5 June 2025.
The summit provided a valuable platform to present SPOTLOG’s main vision and objectives to a diverse and engaged audience. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the good practices identified so far within the project, particularly those contributing to smarter and more sustainable urban logistics.
One of the key themes highlighted during the event was “An Integrated Vision of Mobility and Logistics” — a topic that aligns perfectly with SPOTLOG’s mission. The presentation offered insights into how innovation is transforming urban logistics, showcasing practical examples, start-up-driven solutions, and collaborative experiences that point the way toward a more sustainable future.
Audience involvement was high, with many expressing interests in how the SPOTLOG approach and good practices can be replicated or adapted in their own contexts. The event brought together key stakeholders in urban transformation, including municipalities, companies, universities, start-ups, and public agencies - creating a dynamic environment for dialogue and future collaboration.
Participation in the summit reaffirmed SPOTLOG’s role in driving forward-thinking, sustainable solutions in urban logistics and strengthening connections across sectors.
