Project stakeholders meeting in Gdansk on June the 2nd, 2025
The project regional stakeholders event was combined with a meeting of an informal group of the Pomorski Horyzont. Pomorski Horyzont is a cooperation ecosystem of regional institutions supporting entities interested in European research and innovation programmes.
At the beginning information about our last partners meeting (International Learning Event – ILE 4) in Western Macedonia was presented, it was held in in Kastoria and Kozani (Greece) on April 2025. During ILE 4 Peer Reviews for Western Macedonia (Greece) and Galicia (Spain) were conducted. Our stakeholders had now the possibility to learn more about this regions, and most of all what regional institutions can offer SMEs on their way to get EU R&I funding.
Afterwards we had a short presentation about ILE 3 in Lille (France) from a stakeholders perspective, with conclusion and observation. Presentation was prepared by a representative of Enterprise Europe Network at the Free Entrepreneurship Association in Gdansk.
Then Pomorskie good practices were introduced and discussed in detail:
- The Academy of Managers of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme provided by National Contact Point for EU Research Programs at the National Centre for Research and Development
- Platform for science and business cooperation in Pomorskie Voivodeship provided by WSB Merito University in Gdańsk
- Promotional Campaign of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes in Pomorskie Voivodeship named #Pomorski Horyzont provided by Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship.
The good practices were prepared by Pomorskie Voivodeship as a part of SMART CON EUROPE project.
We also informed our stakeholders group that the next meeting (ILE 5) will be hosted by NERE Business Association of the Region of Evora (in Alentejo, Portugal). The meeting will be dedicated to GOOD PRACTICES identified for our project.
The meeting was very interesting for all participants. It was opportunity to openly discuss our thoughts and share experiences regarding regional activities.
