Advancing Twin Transition Skills in Lviv
On 19 December 2024, the Institution Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region (RDA Lviv, Ukraine) took a significant step towards fostering twin transition skills and implementing smart specialization strategies in the region. As a discovery partner, the RDA organized its first meeting with stakeholders, bringing together key players to align on priorities and opportunities for regional growth.

Analyzing Best Practices
Over 20 best practices from project partner countries were reviewed and analyzed during the session. These examples provided valuable insights into innovative approaches for developing twin transition skills and advancing smart specialization. -
Identifying Regional Priorities
In collaboration with representatives from the Department of Economic Policy and the Department of Education and Science, participants identified priority areas where the development of twin transition skills aligns with the Lviv Region Strategy 2021–2027. These priorities will help address the region's needs, even amidst the unique challenges posed by martial law. -
Adapting Best Practices
Taking into account the regional context and current circumstances, the group selected the most relevant practices for potential implementation in Lviv. These practices will serve as a foundation for developing targeted strategies tailored to the region's economic and social landscape. -
Action Plan Development
The meeting concluded with an agreement on a forward-looking action plan. This roadmap outlines the goals and objectives required to implement the identified priorities, ensuring alignment with the region’s long-term development strategy.
