4th Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting - Romania

On 21 January 2025, the 4th Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting was held in Romania, organised as a part of the SIRM project. The meeting was attended by stakeholders from a wide range of organisations operating in Romania that undertake activities for refugees and migrants and are involved in the project. The meeting was another opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with stakeholders.

A very important part of the meeting was the discussion of the last Transnational Learning Meeting, which took place in September 2024. The good practices that were presented at the international meeting were shared. Study visits to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the Maramures Regional Centre for Procedures and Accommodation of Asylum Seekers were also discussed.

Another focus of the meeting was the preparations for the next international educational meeting to be held in Latvia. Among other things, this consisted of preparing information and data that is relevant to the project and can be presented to the other partners.

At the end of the meeting, the participants took part in a discussion on the Maramureș County Development Strategy 2021-2027 and the possibility to contribute to its actualisation.
