REC4EU takes part to the SIreNERGY project webinar

The REC4EU partner Energie Commune participated to a webinar organized by the SIRENERGY Interreg project, to present the project, its objectives, calendar and methodology to the 100 participants attending the online event.

The webinar took place online on January 26th 2024

This APESA event, part of the Interreg Europe SIreNERGY project (led by Leartibai Fundazioa), presented some strategies to reach social appropriation and citizen engagement in renewable energies.

It was an opportunity to discuss

• the various concepts related to energy communities in Europe,
• to examine their dynamics, and
• to assess the development of European law and its implementation in different EU countries.

In this framework, in the perspective of creating an european sinergy among interested parties, the organisation gave the opportunity to focus on two other Interreg European projects, focusing on renewable energy communities and inclusive energy policies.
