Andalucia meets RECs stakeholders for the 2nd time, (online)
More than 30 experts on Renewable Energy Communities attended online the Second Regional Stakeholders Meeting, in the framework of the REC4EU project, on 15th November 2023.
The Regional Stakeholder Group, created by the Andalusian Energy Agency, partner of the REC4EU project, will analyse successful cases on the promotion of energy communities in different European regions. Likewise, the project will be used to promote, at European level, the successful initiatives that are being implemented in Andalusia.

This Second Regional Stakeholder Group meeting with Andalusian experts started with a welcome from Mr. Joaquín Villar Rodríguez, Responsible for the REC4EU project at the Andalusian Energy Agency, followed by a round of presentations of all the experts connected online.
It is worth mentioning the important increase in the number of stakeholders attending this meeting in comparison with the first RSG.
Mr. Joaquín Villar Rodríguez then presented the REC4EU project to the new members of the Andalusian Stakeholder Group which mainly included the project´s budget, European partners, project description, objectives, involvement and participation of regional stakeholders and final results.
ollowing, Mr. Villar then presented the SWOT analysis on energy communities already elaborated, explaining the collaboration needed by Stakelders to complete the analysis correctly.
Experts were informed of the next steps to be carried out in the project, such as
- completing the SWOT analysis
- the REC4EU meeting in Granada next 30-31 January 2024,
- and shared news on other local, regional and international REC events that are taking place in the coming weeks of interest to the rest of the members
