PROACTsme Joint Study Visit in Limerick

On November 26th and 27th PROACTsme team reunited in Limerick (Ireland) where the team of the University of Limerick hosted this semester’s study visit and partner meeting at the Kemmy Business School .
This time around the event concentrated in the presentation of the conclusions of the Joint Study, ReCo process and IPeR.
As for the first day of this get together:
- Professor Barry Sheehan, Ph. D. delivered the introduction to the Joint Study: what has been done, the goals and main objectives.
- Karolina Ivaldi, who put forward a summary for both the IPeR and ReCo process, continued the presentation. As for the main good practice analysi,the presentation put forward a compilation of all partners’ good practices and analysis of similarities between them, which constitutes a source for future cooperation. Analysis of the situation of each partner’s background and infrastructure.The legal background of each partner was also touched upon. This is an important cornerstone on the similarities but as well the unique challenges.
- Milena Kubicka delivered an insightful presentation about how the IPeR and ReCo process was supported by AI tools.
The event continued with a presentation by Mike Cantwell, Head of Local Enterprise Office Limerick, and gave valuable insights about how this organization supports enterprises from a regional perspective.
Cristina Pruñonosa wrapped up the event with an analysis of the main conclusions! The team headed afterwards to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and had dinner shortly after together, closing the event with a joyful Guinness.
As for the second day:
- Emer Owens and Eamon Leonard delivered a presentation of the Joint Study process and first conclusions, which included an example with the Office of Business Management data and algorithm set up.
- Paula Vergés updated the team on the project status, as well as hindsights of last semester and a perspective on the upcoming semester's exciting events and duties.
The visit ended with big lunch at the East Room Restaurant.
