OD4Growth at S4Andalucía: Driving Regional Innovation

On May 22, 2025, the OD4Growth project took the spotlight at the S4Andalucía meeting,
bringing together key regional and international players including the Andalusian Federation
of Municipalities and Provinces (FAMP), the Andalusian Digital Agency (ADA), the
Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA), and Turkish governmental
representatives from regional development agencies who have been in Seville hosted by the
S4 Technical Office, as a part of an internship.

This cross-border exchange highlighted how open data can drive smarter, more sustainable
regional development. OD4GROWTH supports innovation by embedding open data into
governance, enabling access to EU funds, and empowering local communities to use data
as a strategic tool. Our pilot actions and collaborative efforts with the Junta de Andalucía are
paving the way for a more connected and competitive region.

From the Unified Digital Street Map to Seville’s Smart City Office, together with the pilot
project we have applied for, OD4Growth is delivering real impact. We are proud to be part of
this transformation, building digital capacity, aligning with smart specialization strategies, and
driving forward sustainable growth.
