Study visit in Elverum, Norway

Over the two-day program, participants will explore Elverum’s approach to sustainable urban development, with a focus on innovation, green architecture, and community planning. Key highlights include the eco-friendly neighborhood of Ydalir, modular wooden architecture at Elverum Upper Secondary School, and the town's post-war reconstruction history. Participants will also learn about Elverum’s Climate and Energy Plan, national planning frameworks, and the role of citizen involvement in shaping the future. A visit to Våler will highlight award-winning wooden architecture and industrial sustainability through Sirkulære Solør.
