Launch of the Hungarian stakeholder group

The kick-off meeting of the Hungarian Regional Stakeholder Group took place on 30 June 2023 in order to:

• introduce the NBS4LOCAL project
• discuss the aims and tasks of the stakeholder group
• review the questionnaires on good practices and policy instruments

Despite the summer holiday season significant number of interested parties were present: Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Municipality, Zalaszentgrót Municipality, Komárom-Esztergom County Municipality, National Association of County Municipalities, Hungarian Chamber of Engineers, National Directorate General for Water management, West Balkan Green Centre Nonprofit Ltd., Ministry of Interior - Deputy State Secretariat for Public Employment and Water management, Lechner Knowledge Centre for Territorial, Architectural and Informatics Non-profit Ltd., Budapest University of Technology Faculty of Architecture, National University of Public Service Faculty of Water Sciences, Municipality of Püspökszilágy. Several of them have already participated and are currently participating in a programme with a similar objective, supported by the European Union e.g. LIFE-MICACC, LIFE LOGOS 4 WATERS and LOCALIENCE projects.
