With action event produced in Pińczów near the inland Nida River delta Polish partner presented example of solutions to effectively offset carbon dioxide emissions by restoring and developing natural areas. The action provided for local public an opportunity to learn about species naturally occurring in the Ponidzie region, for example small-leaved lime, common maple, willow iva, hawthorn, plum and apple tree, honeysuckle willow, common hazel, wild rose, raspberry and common buckthorn.

The planted new plants will make possible to create a unique and pollinator-beneficial multi-species flowering garden from early spring to late autumn in the inland Nida River delta. The honeybush plantings help to restore their natural habitats, providing food sources and support for the insects. In addition, the educational dimension of the campaign was arranged to provide basic information about ecosystems and support habits for ecologically sustainable culture locally.

The event was arranged on 8th November 2024.
