Paris, known for its rich history and a global symbol of culture, is set to host the MonitorEE 2nd Interregional Event on the 22nd and 23rd of November. This eagerly expected event is organized in partnership with the "Paris Climate Agency" and spans two informative and interactive days, delving into improving energy efficiency through smarter management system.

Day 1: Knowledge Sharing and Practical Insights

The first day of the event is designed to provide a strong theoretical foundation for partners and stakeholders. The focus will be on introducing the City of Paris Climate Plan, emphasizing decarbonization and energy transition measures, all closely aligned with the objectives of the MonitorEE project.

In addition, a Master Class session will be conducted, centered on the innovative "Coach Copro & EnerSIG" tools.

  • The CoachCopro platform, developed by the Paris Climate Agency, will be explored. It was created in 2013 with the aim of raising awareness, advising, and supporting property communities in their efforts to renovate buildings and enhance energy efficiency.
  • ENERSIG: The Public Energy Data Service's (SPDE) has allowed a notable achievement, the ENERSIG application, which centralizes knowledge related to housing and energy within the built environment.

Later on, a Best Practices Workshop will be conducted by our Paris partner, in collaboration with stakeholders and partners. They will share regional best practices, offering valuable insights into the MonitorEE project's objectives. Participants will learn how to identify and apply these best practices in their respective regions.

The first day's afternoon session will feature a partnership meeting, where project activities and their development will be discussed within the steering committee. This collaborative session will be instrumental in shaping the project's future.

To end the day, a technical visit of the City Council building will allow to present the different innovations implemented to improve energy efficiency such as the surveillance system and the freshness system of Paris.

Day 2: Immersive Study Visits

The second day of the event shifts the focus to practical, hands-on experiences. Participants will embark on study visits to two retrofitted residential buildings:

  • 20 rue d’Arcueil, Paris 14è
  • 7 rue Emile Dubois

These visits will provide valuable insights into real-world examples of sustainable development and energy efficiency.

In the afternoon, the event will culminate with a visit to the Clichy Batignolles eco-district in Paris, a recipient of the Grand Sustainable City Prize at the 2016 Green City Solution Awards. This district is recognized for its pioneering efforts in implementing environmental technologies, particularly in the areas of renewable energy, water management, and waste management. The strong focus on sustainable development in this eco-district makes it a must-see for anyone interested in cutting-edge urban sustainability practices.
