XIII Urban Race Málaga with sustainable event certification

A sustainable race, "XIII URBAN RACE SAN SILVESTRE DE MÁLAGA", was held on New Year's Eve in Málaga. The event was associated with the Sustainable Event Seal from the Environmental Sustainability Department of the Málaga City Council. Both organisers and participants committed to caring for the environment, with the goal of achieving zero waste on the ground.

To support this initiative, LIMASAM provided organic waste and packaging containers at the refreshment points and the finish line. Additionally, environmental educators were present to inform and assist participants in preventing littering.

• Bottles and caps were disposed of in the packaging container.
• Fruit scraps were placed in the organic container.

This event reflected the municipality's commitment to sustainability. Ultimately, the goal was to keep shared spaces clean, minimise waste, and provide the necessary resources to make sustainable events possible.
