Ungheni study elaboration on track

On Monday, February 17, 2025, at the headquarters of the EASTERN MARKETING INSIGHTS company, in Iași, Romania, a working meeting was held between Ungheni district’s MILEstone project manager, Ms. Petre Violeta, and the experts of the mentioned company to discuss and carry out the next stage of the development of the study on the integration of migrants into the community and local economy in Ungheni district. 

During the working session, the questionnaire for interviewing migrants from Ungheni district was analyzed. The questionnaire will provide a clear picture of the migrant from the district regarding age, education, marital status and family composition, legal status of the migrant on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, the reason for migration and whether he/she is active in the labor field, average monthly income and expenses incurred, accessible public services and whether he/she is among those wishing to re-profile or initiate small economic activities, etc.

The results of the interview will be reflected in the study that will contribute to the improvement of the district's local public policy instruments, in particular, the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of Ungheni District for the years 2022-2030.
