On 18-20 March, a peer review meeting was held in West Pomerania (Poland) as part of the MILEstone project. Over the course of three days, the situation of migrants in West Pomerania (Poland) was presented based on the Baseline Study conducted for this region, as well as current migration data and trends. It was also an opportunity to look at migration from the perspective of demography and the labor market. For the peer review team, it was an opportunity to meet with non-governmental and local government organizations supporting migrants, as well as a foundation run by migrant women from Ukraine. The peer review ended with a friendly but objective summary presented by the peer review team consisting of representatives of partners and stakeholders from the District of Burgenlandkreis (Germany), Municipality of Postojna (Slovenia), Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia(Greece). We hope that the conclusions from the peer review will strengthen the regional policy of Western Pomerania.
