Partner meeting in Ungheni

On May 27-28, 2025, the Ungheni District Council hosted the Partner Meeting event with the participation of 12 representatives of 6 MILEstone Project Partners - Burgenlandkreis, Germany, IfL, Leipzig Germany, Postojna, Slovenia, Ascó, Spain, Westpomeranian Region Poland, Central Macedonia Greece, Zhytomyr, Ukraine.

Thus, on May 27, 2025, the Partner Meeting began with a round table in which local stakeholders presented the activities undertaken to integrate migrants into local society and economies, and in which the Project Partners brought their experience and good practices from the regions they represent to share with the event participants.

As a continuation of the event, the participants visited the "Ungheni Business" Free Economic Zone and economic agents with foreign capital where they were informed about the employment of migrants and the possibilities offered to them, as well as the Ungheni Community Center which presented the services and support offered to migrants for socio-economic integration in the Ungheni district.

For May 28, 2025, the Partners' workshop was held on peer review conclusions, follow-up activities and stakeholder involvement in improving policy instruments for the integration of migrants into local economies.
