My name is Hana Bali, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the newest member of the MILEstone Project team in Ascó, as an IVY Project Partner through the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) initiative. It’s a true honor to be part of such a meaningful and forward-thinking project that places inclusion, empowerment, and community at the heart of its mission.

With a Tunisian heart and a global vision, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tunis Business School, with a major in Marketing and a minor in IT. My professional and personal journey has always been centered around social impact, community empowerment, and the power of storytelling as a tool for change. Through my experience across local and international initiatives, I have consistently worked to give a voice to underserved communities.

What drew me to the MILEstone Project was its genuine, human-centered approach to integration, one that goes beyond policies and focuses on giving people real opportunities to thrive. This project doesn’t stop at inclusion—it fosters true empowerment by helping migrants open businesses and become active agents of local development, rather than being limited to low-paying or exploitative jobs. It creates pathways toward dignity, independence, and meaningful participation in society.

Joining this initiative in Ascó is particularly special to me. This community’s openness to diversity and intercultural dialogue makes it the perfect setting for change to take root. I’m truly excited to contribute to a project that builds bridges—between people, cultures, and institutions—and to work alongside such a dedicated and inspiring team.

In my role, I’ll be supporting the project’s communication and engagement efforts, bringing my creativity, energy, and multicultural perspective to the table. I’m eager to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to this experience, while immersing myself in the local culture and values of Ascó.

This experience is more than a professional milestone — it’s a personal one, and I can’t wait to get started.
