LeadEx Kick-off Meeting Launches in Murcia

The LeadEx Kick-off Meeting, hosted by the General Directorate of Human Resources, Educational Planning and Innovation of the Regional Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Employment – Region of Murcia, will take place from 19 to 21 May 2025 in Murcia, Spain.
This important event will bring together regional partners from across Europe to launch collaborative efforts aimed at improving educational approaches and promoting excellence in vocational and general education.
The event opens on Monday, 19 May, with an institutional welcome delivered by the Regional Minister, followed by icebreaker activities, an overview of the Murcian education system, and partners’ presentations, providing an initial opportunity for exchange and alignment. A cultural tour of the city will close the day, offering insight into the region’s heritage and context.
On Tuesday, 20 May, the sessions will focus on project implementation tools, including the Project Management Manual, Communication Strategy, and Work Packages. The day also includes the Semester 1 work plan and a session on financial and administrative matters, concluding with a Steering Committee meeting.
The final day, Wednesday, 21 May, is dedicated to field visits. Participants will explore two local educational institutions: IES Politécnico de Murcia, a secondary school with a strong vocational training focus, and CEIP Federico de Arce, a primary school engaged in inclusive educational practices. The event will conclude with a gala dinner, celebrating the beginning of this European partnership.
The LeadEx Kick-off Meeting marks the beginning of a promising collaboration. With a strong foundation in regional educational expertise and interregional cooperation, the project sets out to exchange good practices, engage local stakeholders, and co-develop strategies that support educational innovation across Europe.
