Voznesensk City Council’s InnoCom team took part in the Effective Project Cycle Management: EU Standards workshop in Kyiv, organized by the United Nations Development Program Ukraine with support from the Government of Sweden.

Over two days, the workshop covered management principles at each stage of the project cycle.

The Voznesensk team fully immersed themselves in the topic, starting with an introduction to key concepts such as stakeholder analysis, development goal setting, and the methodology for defining project problems.

Through group activities and presentations, attendees explored how to build a project step by step, with an exercise about developing a work schedule and budget. In addition to the satisfaction of increasing their expertise in project participation and receiving certificates, participants also celebrated Ukraine’s National Day during the event.

Interreg Europe introduced the role of Discovery Partner in 2024, allowing running projects to add partners from pre-accession countries. Discovery Partners participate with lighter responsibilities in project activities, with the objective of increasing their capacity on the project topic and in the management of interregional cooperation projects. InnoCom was fortunate to welcome Voznesensk City Council and the Development Agency of the City of Trebinje to our partnership in June 2024. Each has submitted a good practice that has been promoted to the expert-validated policy learning platform database.
