Danish delegation learns about InnoCom
On April 2–3, 2025, the InnoCom project staff of the city of Voznesensk took part in an international exchange of experience with the community and visitors from Denmark.
The Voznesensk City Council welcomed a delegation from its sister city, the Danish municipality of Ikast-Brande. The cooperation between Voznesensk and Ikast-Brande is a vivid example of international solidarity and support, aimed at joint projects contribute to the socio-economic development of the community, the implementation of European standards and the improvement of the quality of life of residents. In this context, InnoCom and its work to improve communication between public authorities and SMEs were presented.
As part of this two-day event, participants discussed topics of shared relevance for both territories: opportunities for business and education development in the community, attracting investments, and new projects that will improve cooperation.
During the visit, the prospects for financing innovative projects, in particular the compost cluster, as well as the possibility of creating a Community Entrepreneurs Council, were discussed.
The Danish delegation visited educational and institutional spaces, in particular the Community Development Center and the Vocational Agricultural Lyceum.
The City of Voznesensk and the Municipality of Ikast-Brande signed a Memorandum of Understanding in June 2023, setting the foundation for a long-term partnership aimed at strengthening ties between communities, developing international cooperation and mutual understanding between residents of both cities.
This exchange of experience meeting is an example of the mutual enrichment and deepening cooperation of the two parties, and acts as an incentive for further initiatives in the field of entrepreneurship in the Voznesensk community.
