ICSI EU kicks off in Vienna!

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of ICSI EU – Intensifying Cross-Sectoral Innovation in the EU, a project funded by Interreg Europe.

Hosted in vibrant Vienna by our partner ecoplus. The Business Agency of Lower Austria, the kick-off brought together 8 international partners committed to transforming how regions tackle societal challenges—by turning traditional sector-based networks into cross-sectoral innovation ecosystems.

On the first day of the meeting, the Steering Committee - the central decision-making body of the project - came together. Objective of the day was to get to know each other, and to discuss the roles and responsibilities of all the partners.

During the second day, partners and stakeholders gathered for the first interregional workshop of the project. They were introduced to the strategic foresight methodology by our advisory partner TUA West. The workshop kicked off with a horizon scan and a policy scan to explore future trends and opportunities.

Based on the workshop methodology, partners will now gather their regional stakeholder groups and use the horizon scan within their own regional context. The results of this exercise will be used during the second interregional workshop, hosted in West Flanders, Belgium.
