The event took place on May 21 and 22, 2025, and was structured in two days. The first day began with an introduction to the health and care system of the Municipality of Aarhus, presented by Ivan Kjær Lauridsen, Head of Assisted Living Technology. This was followed by the partner's presentations on good practices related to Thematic Area 3, structural barriers. During this presentations, Aarhus's performance within the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) framework was highlighted, along with contributions from other project partners. The session also included a joint reflection on the structural barriers that hinder the implementation of innovation in health care.

The day continued with a visit to the care center of Thematic Area 1 in Aarhus, where participants explored the interactive exhibition DokkX. To conclude the first day, the University of Twente presented an analysis of the regional reports presented during this semesters by the partners and shared relevant insights that will help set the bases for the next steps of the project.

The second day focused on sharing the outcomes of stakeholder meetings, extracting key learnings to guide the partner's next steps. In addition, several workshops were held to examine the challenges, strengths, opportunities, and weaknesses identified highlighting critical aspects for improvement within the project.

Finally, the upcoming steps were presented, and a proposal was made to hold the next ILE in Västerbotten!!
