Meeting of GreenSPAS Stakeholders in Kujawsko-Pomorskie

The first stakeholder meeting of the GreenSPAS project (Interreg Europe) in Kujawsko-Pomorskie brought together key representatives from the spa industry, local authorities, and departments of the Marshal’s Office to discuss climate adaptation strategies for spa towns.

The session began with an introduction to the project's objectives, highlighting Kujawsko-Pomorskie’s role alongside seven other European regions.

The Department of Environment presented an overview of the region’s climate challenges, emphasizing the need for adaptation measures to address issues such as water shortages, air pollution, and the impact of artificial lighting on vegetation.

A key moment of the meeting was the presentation of best practices observed during a study visit to France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, offering valuable insights for developing sustainable policies.
