The second online Interregional Workshop of the GreenSPAS Project provided a platform for partners and experts to reflect on the Viseu Dão Lafões study visit and discuss the impact of these insights on public policies in historic thermal towns across Europe.

📌 Ákos Samarjai, energy engineer from Budapest Spas, shared insights on sustainable energy strategies, drawing from key takeaways of the study visit in Viseu Dão Lafões.

📌 Jordi Martín i Forns, Councillor of Caldes de Montbui, introduced the municipality’s Caldes Energy Community (La CEL) and its recognition by URBACT as a model for sustainable destinations.

📌 Representatives from project partners—including Montegrotto Terme, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, and the Lithuanian Innovation Center—shared how the study visit in Portugal inspired new approaches and how these learnings could shape future policies.

📌 Partners discussed their expectations for the upcoming study visit in Austria, building on the knowledge gained in Portugal.
