On January 27–28, 2025, our GREENHEALTH partner Kullaberg Nature Reserve conducted two Living Lab sessions to further develop Slow Adventure initiatives along the Kullaleden trail.

To ensure a holistic and inclusive approach, the participation beyond the traditional core group was enlarged, to incorporate landowners, tourism entrepreneurs, and local authorities managing the trails. This broadened scope allows the Kullaberg Nature Reserve to enhance cooperation across sectors, and enhance sustainable and integrated development of nature-based tourism. The active engagement of diverse key stakeholders is essential in ensuring the long-term success of these initiatives.

The discussions focused on strengthening the link between biodiversity, cultural heritage, as well as visitor experiences and well-being. Key themes included developing interactive digital tools, fostering off-season tourism, and incorporating local businesses into the trail experience.
The engagement through the Living Labs is a significant step in promoting sustainable and engaging tourism in the Kullabygden area. In the coming year, our efforts will concentrate on creating digital tools, physical resources, and collaborative strategies to turn a vision into reality.
