Launching events in Kullaberg prompt nature access dialogue
In July 2024, our Swedish partner, Kullaberg Nature Reserve, hosted a series of launch meetings to introduce our Interreg project, GREENHEALTH, to the neighbouring associations of Mölle, Lerhamn, and Viken within the Höganäs municipality. Approximately 100 participants attended the three distinct events.
The aim of the initiative is to improve the well-being and health of visitors in Protected Areas. We particularly focus on individuals who encounter difficulties accessing nature, such as the elderly, those with mobility challenges, and others who may find it hard to appreciate the outdoors.
Following each presentation, discussions focused on enhancing accessibility in Kullaberg. This includes developing sustainable and safer trails, alongside providing digital information, in collaboration with Höganäs municipality.

Participants shared valuable insights and suggestions. Feedback from these discussions will be a valuable input to refine inclusion strategies and ensure that Kullaberg Nature Reserve becomes a model for accessible and eco-friendly tourism. This collaborative effort not only aims to improve physical access but also to foster a deeper connection between people and nature.
