New partners welcomed at Greengov 2° consortium meeting

On November 26th-27th Greengov second Consortium meeting took place in Craiova (Romania), hosted by the Regional Development Agency of South-West Oltenia. 

First of all, the meeting was an occasion to welcome a few new entries. Indeed, in autumn 2024 the partnership was joined by the Regional Development Agency of the Kyiv Region, the Mykolaiv Regional Development Agency, who joined the Consortium ad discovery partner and, as Associated Policy Authority, the Kyiv Regional State (Military) Administration (Ukraine).

The Craiova meeting was also an opportunity to update each other on the project progress and move forward together. The gathering was opened on November 26th by the welcome and greetings of RDA Deputy General Director, Marius Varigatu. The first day was dedicated to a presentation on the EU taxonomy implementation, a presentation of the initial study on the “State of Play of Green Finance in European Regions” (which will be soon published on this website), a presentation of South-West-Oltenia region’s green projects and a participatory workshop on DNSH and climate proofing. The second day included a study visit on climate proofing of infrastructures at Casa “Dianu”, the Art Museum Craiova and the Constantin Brancusi Center. 

Gathering together again in the same place really facilitated and nurtured cooperation among the partners and allowed to organize the project’s next steps. The partnership will meet again in presence in May 2025 in Milan (Italy).
