On May 27th - 28th GreenGov third Consortium Meeting took place in Milan (Italy), hosted by Lombardy Region.

All of GreenGov Project Partner attended the event, either in person (Ile-de-France Region, Lisbon Metropolitan Area, Regional Development Agency South-West Oltenia, Lower Saxon Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Housing, Brussels-Capital Region, North-West Regional Development Agency, South Moravian Agency for Public Innovation – JINAG association, Poliedra, Mykolaiv Regional Development Agency) or online (Regional Development Agency of the Kyiv region, Kyiv Regional State (Military) Administration).

The Consortium Meeting in Milan was an opportunity to continue the collaborative learning process on DNSH, Climate Proofing, EU Taxonomy and Green Finance. The event was opened by the Institutional Greetings of the Head of Structure European Territorial Cooperation and International Cooperation of Lombardy Region, Maria Grazia Pedrana.

The morning of the first day was dedicated to closing the chapter on DNSH and CP, by presenting the Technical Implementation Sheets that were drawn up by Poliedra (AP), and to a collaborative working session on the Draft Frameworks on the two topics. Later on, some PPs (Lower Saxony, South-West Oltenia, Lisbon Metropolitan Area, Lombardy Region) updated the group on the improvement of their Policy Instruments. The morning ended with two keynote speeches, “Technical Guidance on DNSH for the Social Climate Fund” held by Carlo De Grandis – European Commission and “Climrisk.eu - Data analysis tools for Climate Proofing of infrastructures” held by Pavel Zahradníček – CzechGlobe.

During the afternoon, the PPs visited the University of Milano-Bicocca and its OpenLab, and they attended to three keynotes speeches by MUSA researchers about Urban Regeneration at Bicocca, Urban Heat Islands at microscale and Groundwater and Geothermal Resource.

Finally, the floor was given to Stakeholders, who shared their insight on the topics addressed by the  GreenGov project.

On May 28th, the PPs participated to a workshop on EU Taxonomy, that aimed at understanding how European Taxonomy is approached by the partners.

Finally, two sessions were held simoultaneously: a B2B activity dedicated to the stakeholders took place while the Project Partners focused on the Management Tools (Presentation held by Ile de France, LP), the Communication Management (Presentation held by Poliedra, AP) and finally the Steering Committee.

The event yield some time for informal and social activities, such as a visit to the Tree Library Park and the Vertical Forest Building on May 26th , and the Social Dinner on May 27th.
