GreenGov meets the Horizon Widera CROSS-REIS project @ Milan

On the final day of the Horizon Widera project’s CROSS-REIS event in Milan, the GreenGov initiative was presented as an ongoing project of the Consorzio Poliedra. The presentation hihglighted the project’s vision, objectives, and goals, while also introducing the project’s partners and the policy tools that will be addressed throughout the next four years.
GreenGov, aims at helping European Regions and local authorities to implement the EU Taxonomy and improve the governance of their financing schemes. Its main goal is to design a common and robust process to adapt regional and local strategies to the new European framework, by developing a guide to support capacity building and awareness raising on green finance mechanisms among all the actors involved.
The GreenGov project is implemented through collaboration with a diverse group of 11 partners and 1 associated policy authority - Ile-de-France Region, Lisbon Metropolitan Area (AML), Lombardy Region, Regional Development Agency South-West Oltenia, Lower Saxon Ministry for Federal and European Affairs and Regional Development, Brussels-Capital Region, North-West Regional Development Agency, South Moravian Agency for Public Innovation JINAG, association, Poliedra, Regional Development Agency of the Kyiv region, Mykolaiv Regional Development Agency and Kyiv Regional State (Military) Administration.
The event was an occasion to exchange ideas with the partners of CROSS-REIS project and to promote GreenGov project in the perspective of encouraging the development of new, fruitful collaborations.
