Green4HEAT at the Interreg Europe Programme Forum

On 19-20 March, the 11th Interreg Europe Programme Forum - Europe, let's work together! took place in Poland. Participants included representatives of local and regional governments responsible for development policies from the EU27 Member States, Norway, Moldova, Ukraine and the Western Balkans.
The Forum was held under the auspices of the Polish EU Presidency. The meeting was opened by Konrad Wojnarowski, Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.
In Krakow, participants discussed the use of artificial intelligence in public services, the social dimension of green and digital transformation, and how to design and implement effective development policies, among other topics. As part of their study visits, they had the opportunity to visit the Energy Centre at the AGH University of Science and Technology, where activities for the energy transition in Małopolska were presented.
During the Forum, projects were also presented, including the Green4HEAT project accompanied by EAGER - Easing AGrophotovoltaics for EuRope and RENEWAT - Renewable Energies in European Water Mills, which share the common goal of greening energy. The transition to clean energy is both a necessity in the fight against climate change and an opportunity for greater energy security.
The Green4HEAT project was also mentioned by Irma Astrauskaitė-Denis, Head of Unit - Communication and Contact Points, in her summary of the Forum. We encourage you to watch the video recording of the Forum at Interreg Europe website.
