GOCORE supports the exchange of good practices
On December 16, 2024, the Trentino Solidarity Economy District (DES Trentino) organized a study visit to DES Como-Brianza, Italy, following the Peer Review recommendations from the GOCORE project.
Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione attended the visit, which aimed to share and promote good practices in sustainability and active citizen participation.
During the visit, participants learned about inspiring initiatives that help local communities, such as:
- Supporting small farms, helping them sell their products in local markets.
- Revitalizing abandoned spaces, like a brewery that turned into a key community hub.
- Urban regeneration projects, such as the renewal of Erba train station, have become symbols of social and economic development.
These exchanges help strengthen local networks and create new opportunities for small businesses and citizens. They also show how sustainable and inclusive economic models can benefit communities.
This study visit, part of the recommendations of the Peer Review of the European project GOCORE, confirms the GOCORE project’s mission: bringing communities and policymakers closer together to encourage dialogue and innovative solutions for a better future!
