Province of Drenthe Joins European Hydrogen Week in Brussels

The Province of Drenthe traveled to Brussels for the European Hydrogen Week (18- 22 November 2024), an event that brought together key players from across the hydrogen sector. Co-organized by Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission, and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, the event offered an immersive week of conferences, exhibitions, and invaluable networking opportunities.

The conference agenda featured panels with leading industry stakeholders tackling critical challenges for the hydrogen sector. Discussions covered pressing topics such as the urgency of establishing effective regulatory frameworks, sector-specific hurdles to decarbonization, and hydrogen’s role in maintaining Europe’s leadership in a competitive global market.

On 20 November, the Province of Drenthe joined a networking dinner hosted by the Médio Tejo region and MédioTejo21 - Regional Energy Agency. The evening provided an excellent setting to promote the GH2M project, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
