GH2M Project at COP29 in Azerbaijan

The COP (Conference of the Parties) is a critical series of meetings where governments assess global progress on the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. It provides a platform for discussions aimed at limiting global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the latest scientific findings. World leaders gather at COP to track progress and negotiate effective strategies for addressing climate change.
Currently, the Convention has 198 Parties (197 countries and the European Union), representing nearly universal participation. This year, COP29 took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11-22.
Invited by STRING Megaregion, who organized the panel discussion "Hydrogen as a Green Fuel Source for Heavy-Duty Transport" on November 16 at the DK Pavilion (Blue Zone), the Province of Drenthe showcased how hydrogen is produced and used in heavy-duty transport vehicles. As part of the presentation, Drenthe highlighted the H2 Hollandia/H2 Drive and GH2M projects, outlining their goals to an international audience.
