Project summary
The World Health Organisation (WHO) recognises the critical role of digital health in achieving universal health coverage and improving healthcare efficiency, accessibility, and effectiveness. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted disparities in countries' and regions' ability to digitally transform their healthcare systems. Without addressing inequalities in access and use of digital technology, these disparities may grow.
Healthcare 5.0, driven by Industry 5.0, uses advanced technologies to transform healthcare delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and improve the overall healthcare experience.
Interreg Europe funded HUMAN project empowers regions to adopt Healthcare 5.0 policies, harnessing technology towards inclusive, affordable, and human-centred healthcare.
