Croatia | Presentation of examples of the use of RES

On December 5, 2023, the team from PI REDEA held the second stakeholder meeting where we presented the activities carried out under the Express project. Our primary emphasis was on showcasing examples of good practices in utilizing renewable energy sources, gleaned from study visits to Finland, Poland, and Ireland earlier in 2023.

The members were impressed by the presentation and were happy to discuss how we can apply these good practices in Međimurje County. This pleasant discussion served as a prelude to the latter part of the meeting where we discussed in more detail the measures to encourage local and regional self-sufficiency, focusing mostly on the measures to encourage in the following areas: energy from biomass and biogas and sustainable mobility.
