UL's Role in the Digital Rural Project
The University of Ljubljana's ICT Department, part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, plays a key role in the Digital Rural Project. Specializing in areas like telecommunication networks, IoT, Big Data, LTE and 5G networks, Blockchain technologies, multimedia systems, application development, and user experience design, the team is dedicated to human-centered digital transformation. UL aims to harness digital technologies to support rural development, leveraging extensive experience in industry collaborations and EU-funded projects.
